Biography

Born in 10 July 1993 of Lomwe tribe, in Thyolo district upraised in Blantyre township,Magombo is a multitalented young man who is a poet ,writer ,composer ,pencil and paint artist and an acoustic guitarist, using Magombo as a stage name his full name is Delius Magombo ,started singing in 2008 at Zingwangwa secondary school as scom praise team member, in 2012 joined illumination assembly and fountain of victory praise team ,he was one of the youngest praise team member, as guitarist he started learning a guitar in 2012 when he met with one of the well-known lead guitarist Colen Ali whom he was like his alm barer a good friend too, he could carry his guitar bag where ever he could go, also as a pencil artist and a poet he met with artist Jacojana who gave him direction , guidance and mentor him in all they were doing in common, 2013 he was leading skyway university praise team in Blantyre near chilimba township ,jazzman Adrian Mwalija, Sam Chidothe, Osborne Ngwila , Nkhumbo Desire Manda and his producer Sir Yoyoe Israel just to mention a few are among the people who took him in their wings and usher him to another lever in his music career, now based in Cape Town he does spend much of his time in drawing African artworks on canvas and selling them, as well as playing a guitar in church bands ,he for the first time in 2016 started recording when a close friend of his guitarist Michael Mangwiro encouraged him to do so with inity studio where he recorded agogodeleni as his first track seconded by iwe tiye, in 2016 he was staging with reflex band now inity jazz band leading his two songs iwe tiye and nkhondo in Queens motel alongside with a Zimbabwean jazz artist qeqeshiwe mntando and some of his Xhosa dudes currently he is busy working with Sir Yoyoe Israel in recording his album entitled Sindilora ,which has tracks iwe tiye ,a gogodeleni ,nkhondo ,bwela mmalawi ,come on and Sindilora, his goal is to bring out the old flavor of guitar artist like Allan namoko,Daniel kachamba and many more in a gospel form and also to mix his talents with an aim of producing something artistic ,currently he is busy recording his remaining tracks for his album Sindilora with mutho’s family studio under producer sir Yoyoe Israel and the footstep jazz band generation.
