Biography

Wells Chimtondo C, known by his fans Wells Kebra aka Alkebulan, is an ever-evolving artist that has numerous ways of expressing his creativity. The ability to watch and learn from others around him has made him into somewhat of what he is Today. You can find him at Kawale, in his hometown Lilongwe, Malawi, writing lyrics, producing tracks, recording himself , mixing songs, editing photos, or even learning to play the guitar. His passion for music began at early age when he would change the lyrics to popular songs and record his own version. What began as a humorous venture was actually a stepping stone for the artist we know today. Reggae music has always been a strong influence on the Kawale lyricist, but during high school it was Hip Hop music that captivated him, and you could find him walking to the canteen reciting his favorite D12 band . The influence of both genres can be easily detected as he seeks to find the perfect fusion of the two cultural expressions. After finish his High school in 2011 is when his music journey began. He recorded his first single at Recall music studio. Music always called him even when he went to Blantyre International University to study Information Technology. He used to stay with his aunt in Ndirande during school time. One day he met Lion Heart, also an artist, and they discussed issues concerning music and they become close friends. Together they linked up with Trumale and recorded a number of singles. Born July 29 1993 at Mwanza district Hospital raised in city of Lilongwe.
