Biography

George Matola (born 31 January, 2003) known professionally as Aidfest is a Bangwe Towniship born songwriter and singer. He began to pursue a music career at the age of 17. He rose to prominence after releasing “Ndaku” featuring another Bangwe based sensational Zonke, back in 2022. In 2023, Aidfest released “Two Two” with his musical friend Kineo. This brought him to the attention of record executive Jaa Kev who signed him to his Madness Entertainment. Aidfest has shared stages with some big names in Malawian music circles such as Mafo, Skefa Chimoto and Piksy among others.
