Big C (Uncle Big)

Biography

Gershom Chilambo, popularly known as Big C or Uncle Big, is a Malawian artist hailing from Kalweya Manyamula in Mzimba, Malawi. Born into a family of Mr. and Mrs. Brighton Chilambo, he is the sixth child among nine siblings. Growing up in Nkhata Bay under T/A Kabunduli, Big C completed his primary education at Kenani Primary School from 1998 to 2006. In 2006, he was selected to attend Chihame CDSS for his secondary education. After completing his Form 2 in Mzimba in 2007, Big C relocated to Mzuzu in 2011, where he continued his studies at Lubinga Secondary School, completing his Form 3 and 4. Following his time in Mzuzu, Gershom Chilambo returned to his hometown in Mzimba and made the decision to pursue a career in music.
