Emmanuel Mhone, popularly known as Boss Major 1339, is a rising Malawian dancehall artist whose journey in music began in 2018 after completing his Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE). That same year, he co-founded Killa Vybz 1339, a music crew consisting of four passionate members, driven by a shared vision to make a mark in the industry. Inspired by Jamaican dancehall giants like Tommy Lee, Alkaline, and Vybz Kartel, Boss Major 1339 has crafted a unique sound that blends international influences with his Malawian roots. Locally, he draws inspiration from Malinga, one of Malawi’s most talented artists. With a deep passion for music, Boss Major 1339 is on a mission to establish himself in the Malawian music industry and extend his reach beyond borders, sharing his artistry with a global audience.
