Biography

Chigo Grace is a Malawian gospel musician, singer and songwriter who features contemporary Christian presentations in her art. In somewhat new genre by Malawi and African gospel standards, Chigo Grace fuses into her songs elements of rock and pop into one clear-cut category of music genus. Her stand-out profile within her genre has made her one of the country’s most recognizable female voices. Despite relying mostly on her “diamond-in-a rough” voice, she has over the years broadened her talent by accompanying her songs with a self-played guitar. The Blantyre resident has to her credit two albums: "You Are Righteous" (2008) and “Beautiful” (2009). Currently, she is working on her latest yet-to-be released project titled “Breathe In Me”. Chigo Grace boasts of two music videos; “My Everything” (2011) and very recently “Heaven is Here” which is enjoying YouTube presence and airplay on national radio and TV stations.
