Chimwemwe Mizaya is a talented female gospel music artist hailing from Lilongwe. Her inspiring musical journey began in the 1990s when she co-founded the Amazing Grace Singers alongside Chrissie Kamthunzi and other fellow artists.
In 2000, Chimwemwe's exceptional talent and dedication to her craft were recognized when she won the prestigious accolade of Best Female Gospel Music Artist. In both 2003 and 2008, she proudly represented her country at a Christian Artists forum held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Bulgaria, respectively. Her participation in these events showcased her remarkable talent to a global audience, solidifying her position as a respected gospel music artist.
In 2013, Chimwemwe had the honor of representing Malawi in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) for her contributions to children's music
Her first album, "Ndiwerenge Mau," marked the beginning of a prolific journey that has seen her release a total of eight albums to date
Currently, Chimwemwe is preparing for the release of her highly anticipated new album, featuring the title track "Ndidzakutamandani", which is now out.
