Biography
Chainda Mbera (born 11/01/1988), better known by his stage name Conel Chycoon, is a Malawian dance hall reggae artist and recording producer at Njuchi records a Malawian area 49 based label. His interest in the reggae dance hall genre was influenced by the likes of Vybes Kartel, Super Cat, Bounty killer, Sean Paul, Buju Banton and Sizzla just to mention a few. Been in the game since 2003 when he was in secondary school but he started recording tracks in 2005.
He has an album titled "The Genesis", this album has 15 tracks like "Munvakuwawa, Man to man, Enemies, Nyenyezi titha, Ghetto yuts just to mention a few, Chycoon has collaborated with well known artists like Late Mafunyeta, Binge and Black Fit (From Tanzania) among others.
Chycoon has played over 30 shows and has shared the stage with Phyzix, Blasto, Black Missionaries, Lulu, Dare Devils, Third Eye, Lucious Banda, Late Mafunyeta and other local artists in Malawi.
