Biography

Born 21st April 1997 at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe. Went to Lilongwe L.E.A School for primary school and Bwaila secondary school for secondary education. Currently am studying education in sciences of biology and Mathematics at Domasi College of education. His passion for music began in 2009 when he adopted music as a hobby. It was his sister, the second born in his family who pulled him into music. Whenever he listened to music, he felt life and always had a feeling that he can make a song which people could listen to. Even though he is into rap music, he equally enjoys any piece having an element of music, whether rap or not. He began recording in 2014, when he recorded real friend is Jesus (kufwanthamula) with Nelz Elias. Together with Nelz Elias, they formed a brotherhood relation which they call dual relationship of love. Nelz belongs to the Pastor’s Unit while Gift is of Nzeru Artistic Ants but they work together in every aspect of music. Nelz is his director just like how he is to him. Gift Scot also has a contract with Asher Daniel of Dasher pictures. They agreed that Dasher pictures will be providing free video shoots as well as art works so long as he keeps on producing good music. Mochave and Gift founded the Nzeru Artistic Ants with two others, Salome magalasi and Jennet Magalasi. The role of the group is to unite talents for the glory of God. Its goals are based on proverbs 6:6. He currently has 1 collection of music Badamllection which has 8 tracks. The name is a combination of badam and collection. The collection was produced by P. Midribz of alloy biz records in 2016. The artist goes by my real name Gift Scot in all official and music businesses. His vocal identity is Badam Badam which means sound of a Holy drum.
