Genii Blakk is set to release his highly anticipated album entitled “The Music Man” come November, this year. The DMG CEO recently released a smash hit single “AYI” which features label mate El Mind, has been said to be one of the most intriguing songs so far. The song was recorded and produced by Direct Muzik Group and contains ear catching lyrics attached to a groovy beat with a catchy controversial hook. #AYI talks about justice in the music industry as it has always been compromised by the circulation of low quality and poorly arranged music. This has made it very hard for Malawi to gain recognition abroad through music that can stand out on the international scene allowing talented artists from Malawi the global recognition in the music industry. El Mind appears courtesy of Direct Muzik Group along with Genii Blakk, the two have collaborated several times both in their consecutive projects expected to drop soon. Following up on the single release are music videos and other prepared events to be conducted in line with the Album Launch, said Genii Blakk. A tour for the album is in progress along with Direct Muzik Group artists Jhon O’ Dreams, Spotless, Comrade and El Mind set to hold down shows across the country and other surrounding nations.
