Biography

Chifundo Hugo Ndala (born August 24, 1992), better known by his stage name G.E.N.E.T.I.X is a Malawian rapper from Green Corner, Blantyre. He currently resides in Lilongwe. He is one half of the Hip-Hop duo Genetix + Prototype (With Prototype) and also one third of the group call Blak Mentality (with Inkosi and Boanerge). He started rapping at the age of 11, heavily influenced by the Golden Era of rap. As a youth, he spent much time around Legendary Emcee Tru Docssy who taught him a few things about emceeing and Hip-Hop in general. He attended numerous Hip-Hop shows in Blantyre back in the day with a purpose of trying to fully understand the concept of Hip-hop. A member of Hip-Hop elite team Bass & Truth Entertainment, G.E.N.E.T.I.X credits his Hip-Hop prevalence to Divine Sense who put him on the team in 2012. He currently has a joint album " We Mastered The Art" with Prototype that was released in 2015. His debut album "Realism Activates Power" was released on July 24th 2018 with production credits from Divine Sense, Deep Brain, Street Knowledge, Sage Poet, Fuego, Eric Most and Nigo Beatz.
