Biography

Gabriel Steveman real name Steve Mpomba was born at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre Malawi. Life was not easy for the Reggae and Dance hall artist born in a single parent family and raised in a number of extended families. as a Ghetto youth. Steveman started school at Zingwangwa FP School, finished at Nsanje Secondary soon after being awarded a Malawi School Certificate of Education. Gabriel started practicing Music at Tamandani Ambuye youth Gospel group where he was a member of both the choir and drama group.

He came into the limelight in 2013 when he won the Zamakono Media House Summer Talent Show where he went home with thousands of cash prize and secure a record deal with one of the prominent record rebels Pro-Pee Records, where he recorded his hit single "UDZIZIMITSIRA."

He has also worked with True male of Euphonix Sounds.
