Biography

Gideon Palmtree Thole, born in 1998 at Nkhoma Mission Hospital in Lilongwe is a multifaceted individual, wearing the hats of a Writer, Spoken Word Artist, Dating Coach and Primary School Teacher. With a passion of storytelling through both Written and Performance Poetry, Thole has graced numerous projects such as Down the Rivers album, Moments album, Palms and Trees EP, and successful singles such as Reflections, I am A Child, I See, Apongozi, Tataya Mzati, and Asiyeni Apwetekane. He has also contributed his writing skills to organizations such as Montfort Media through its publication, Together Youth Magazine. His poetic journey is driven by a deep-rooted commitment to shedding light on untold narratives, offering a unique perspective on pressing societal issues such as human rights, climate action as well as relationships. Through his wonderfully evocative verses, Thole strives to ignite conversations, fostering love and inspire positive change within communities.
