Biography

Blantyre based artist who's stage name is Hypa, real name Lusungu Kalua. Started off his career as an RnB artist until he met Prophecy and Jaxstar who are his childhood friends. They created a Hiphop group called "K.O" and made various hits together. After a while Hypa was signed to a group called "Boss Boys" which was owned by The famous Dj boo. Hypa is known for his various features with the late Revolver, Gwamba, Theo Thompson,Young Kay, Sonye, krazie g, Barry one just to mention a few. He is known for his powerful wordplay and punchlines. He was featured in "Sindidanda remix", "John chilembwe remix", "Ndikadzalemera", "Suntha", "So what" and many more.
