Biography

Born Precious Gift Mvula ,Hurricane is an international Dancehall Artist who is characterised by audible english lyrics,a good delivery technique with a powerful message behind each of his songs.

Hurricane showed his creativity and passion for music at a very tender age.He broke into the Malawi music industry in the year 2008 when he released his single plus video"Love me better" which he featured Riandy.
Over the years he has worked with the country prominent artists such as Tigris,mwanache,Young Haso and international artists.Recently he did a remix with Zambia's Favorite artist Deejay magic for "stand by me" which currently has been nominated for the Zambian music awards for the 'best overall collaboration" after enjoying a huge success in air play .The international Dancehall reggae artist also won the best song for HIV/Aids in kenya with his song "Singing in the rain".

Hurricane also has a video on MBC TV called "Holding On" which has also enjoying huge airplay.He will be releasing an album next year in August but his focus is now on good music video quality .

At the moment,he is working wit Zambia Beatbox Africa for mentorship and music distribution purpose.He is producing a clothing line known as Inyimbo Africa which will be launched at the release of his video in late .

Hurricane is working on a video project called "Towards World Peace " which will be released early next year in RSA.The song talks about rising above racism,stigma and religionism and is a part project of the UN's agenda for peace in all the nations.
