Biography

Katra, whose real name is Antonio Katra Kaira, is a 22-year-old musician from Karonga, currently based in Chilimba, Blantyre. He started his music journey in 2010 but became more serious about it in 2012. Katra's inspiration came from his mother, who once told him that he couldn't be an artist. This motivated him to put in great effort and led to his victory in 2 Mic Battles in Chimwankhunda. Katra is affiliated with two record labels, Timeless Records and Africa Music Entertainment. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various producers and achieved considerable success, including opportunities to meet and work with music experts who have contributed to his growth. Presently, he is associated with the clothing brand 'Zanyatwa Keys'. His ultimate goal is to bring happiness to his mother through his music.
