Biography

Kalawe is a Hip-hop artist who began making music at age 15. His hit singles include Na You, Misonzi and Dreams.

Kalawe’s music career started way back in 2004 when he was at Marist Secondary School. He met a friend; name Mentse, who was so passionate about making music. Kalawe got interested and started trying to write his own songs until when he got it right.

Kalawe is a natural born lyricist and a trend setter. He believes that music has a power to transform a society and he seeks to transform it in a positive way. He connects with his audience at an emotional level in his track Misonzi. The video directed by Sukez is now on Times TV top ten chart and it frequents the other TV channels.

Kalawe is a graduate economist from Chancellor College. He is at the moment pursuing further studies. Kalawe redirects the intellectual power obtained from his education to his music.
