Biography

LION HEART (born Adrian Matewere January 9 1987) is Malawian Dancehall Deejay. He was born at Queen Elizabeth central hospital in Blantyre. He was one of the eight children originally from Chiradzulu district raised in sunshine community Ndirande maplot, Matewere attended Namalimwe government school and continued his education in Private institution ended up as artisan spray painter. He started his music journey at a tender age when he meet producer Thom (Thomas Yuda) who inspired the musician in recording and promoting. Matewere and his three other friends Kondwani Chapalapasa aka Lion Mugabe, Jones Supada aka Mr coleone and chapipha kayira aka chap nero formed group called LOIN HEARTS and started recording songs like Mkazi wachikuda, ku john, time and save my life. He came into his own space with singles Wamisala (don dada riddim) ukhale Waine (money tree riddim) one step (overstay riddim), Ndalimba mtima collaborate with Enweezy (In and Out riddim), Wells chimtondo aka alkebulan- Call On Jah (chocolate sauce riddim) We nuh worry dem (starheart riddim) Never give up (kingstone 8 riddim and Chifaninzo (Yang’ana nkhope riddim). Up and Coming dancehall artist Addi Riano is creating a stir in dancehall with the debut single which features hardcore Deejay Kebra and enjoying massive airplay and its ready for the world.
