Biography

Daud Alfred Chande (24 years), popularly known by his stage name "Label", is a Bluewave Records-signed Malawian hip-hop artist. Label is originally from the Mangochi district. Label started rapping at the age of 15, having been inspired by his childhood friend Beezboy. His style of delivery, uniqueness and mature bars made him earn recognition as one of the kids to look out for. His songs "Kodi Zilipobe" and "Undinvetsetse (Feat Marvin K)" were successfull and became the biggest songs in 2019. Label has worked with different music heavy weights such as Riffle Dynamic, Charles Phika, Marvin K and many others, in the upcoming Charles Phika-produced album "Mbali Ina", set to be released this year.
