Biography
Born Stephano Ulaya better known by his stage name Sithe formery Lil'Stepha. He is a reggea, dancehall fusion artist. Hails from Lirangwe but born and raised in Ndirande.
Sithe started his music career in 2004 at Lirangwe secondary school where he formed a musical group with two of his classmates and became an eminent figure of the scene in 2009. His hit single "Ndine Mfana" was one of the popular dancehall songs in 2010. The song was produced by Charles Taylor of Zoom Productions. Ndine Mfana tune made Sithe's chart debut, which reached the top 20 in different radio stations. Later in the year 2010 Sithe found himself in the arms of Black rhino entertainment where he was signed to perform his Ndine Mfana tune in three shows organised by the company. Sithe shared the stage with the acts of Tay Grin, Mafunyeta, Dictator, Don dadas alliance and Rina along those shows.
In 2011 Sithe relocated to the RSA where he worked to fund his interest in music production. 2015 Sithe came back in the country with a hit single "Ife Monga" which was released on 26th May, whilst the tune was enjoying its airplay Sithe hit the country by storm again with another hit single "Kachinkhoswe" an acoustic, pure traditional song. These two songs were promoting Inauguration album which was launched on 25th August, 2016. Sithe is now working on his second album "Secret War". In an interview with malawi music recently, Sithe said the album will be ready by the end of this year 2017.
