Lusungu Mkandawire

Biography

Lusungu Mkandawire is a 26 year old Afro Jazz Gospel Musician/Worshiper/Songwriter. Her love for music dates back to when she was only 8 years old and her talent having been noted by her family and she was enrolled in a local church choir in which she sang for 7 years. Lusungu is also a Registered nurse midwife, with a Bachelors Degree from KUHeS by then known as Kamuzu College of Nursing. On 26th September she released her first ever single titled ‘Angels of God’ which she submitted to Nyasa talent competition and was overwhelmed with the positive feedback on the song. On the 28th November the worshiper took to the studio to release her second single titled Tiphalirako, a pure tumbukan classic. Lusungu believes you can never go wrong carrying out your purpose and doing what you love.
