Biography

Mashallo Samilo was on 15th May, 1991 in chombe village, T/A Mlumbe, Zomba, Malawi. He is an artist who is placed between the worlds of Afro music and creative writing. His poems have been previously published in his homeland by Malawi News, Malawi Writers Union's 20 th Annivesary souvenir, UNICEF and in five other countries_ Roots and Routes from Netherlands, Urban Woorden from Belgium, Youth Speaks from USA, Brouhaha International from UK and Word and Sound from South Africa. His first second album titled Welcome to Malawi was released digitally on 7 th December, 2018 under Le reve Africain label. He recorded his first single at the age of 16.
