Mussa Ngwira is an acclaimed poet known for his profound and evocative literary works. His poetry resonates deeply with readers, exploring themes of love, loss, identity, and the universal quest for meaning. Ngwira Started poetry in 2012 with his piece “Usamatumbwe ndi moyo” Ngwira's exceptional talent has garnered recognition, including being nominated as the Best Poet of the Year 2022 by the Muslim Arts Awards and winning Best Poem of the Year with "Alikuti adaphula dziko." His poem "Mukandinenere Kwa Mai" was also selected as the best poem in the album "Recite for Mothers 2019" alongside Silvester Kalizang'oma's "Nayi Nkhata ya Maluwa." Ngwira has published several critically acclaimed poetry collections, captivating audiences with his lyrical beauty and thought-provoking content. He released a 20-poem album in 2022, showcasing his artistic range. His poems have achieved recognition, such as "Ndizabwera Corona Akatha" placing third in the Times Radio Competition in 2020 and "ALikuti adaphula Dziko" reaching the finalist stage of the Nzati TV Poetry Competition in 2022.
