Biography

Passionate about Hip hop since the age of 15 Lewis Chikuni set out to become the next big thing like many aspiring artists.Known as Marvel amongst those who knew him,he forged a name for himself in his home country of Malawi as part of his former group Real elements.The Group enjoyed the most attention and success any local hip hop outfit had and spread thier wings while living in the U.K,collaborating and touring with British and other international acts.
in 2005,with a potential deal on the table,one of the group members announced that he could no longer proceed with them because something big had happened in his life.The event,coming to a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.This rocked marvel and the others and started a period of soul searching for him.In 2008 after attending church on and off with his then girlfriend Violet,who is now his beloved wife,Lewis felt the irresistable call of God in his heart and under powerful conviction one november day,He gave up the fight and surrendered his life to Christ.
He now uses his gifts to magnify the name of the Lord and with a heart for hip hop culture,speaks to listeners about the supremacy of Christ over all things,even music and spreads the gospel message wherever opportunities arise.currently residing in Maryland,U.S.A he attends Solid rock church in college park,MD and aspires to grow in the knowledge of the word of God that he may better serve others and bask in the fullness of joy that comes from knowing the one and only true savior of the world.Jesus Christ.
