Biography

P. I. G real Name Gift Shaba, started serious music in 2011 when he was at Chaminade secondary school, his uncles inspired him to start music. He grew up in a reggea and dancehall family, recorded his first single as a hip hop artist at drum sounds studio in 2010. In 2012 he decided to switch to dancehall because he wanted to sound different. Waxxy pee and mandizo encouraged him to keep it dancehall and later on he met Lawrent Nyirenda well known as Crispy wa Pampene and Mandizo and formed a Dancehall crew Pampene Alliance. He has worked with artists like Jay jay cee, Jomaco, Twiggy, Wakisa James, Redemption, Kalashnikov, flava n virus and many more
