Biography

Born Eugine Suwedi, Pon G is an Afro Pop artist from Malawi, residing in the commercial city of Blantyre. Pon G has been in the music industry since 2010, performing along side his brother Thocco 'Weapon' Suwedi under Weapons of Peace name. Together with his brother Weapon, Pon G was a lead singer in Mapale Band where he successfully recorded 'Undidikire' hit under the band. In 2015, Pon G went solo, releasing two singles, Manga Uzipita and Hold My Hand, in which he featured the beautiful voice of Charisma, a budding female singer from South Africa. He is currently working on his debut solo album titled 'Life is a journey'.
