Biography

Rico Tyrone is a Reggea dancehall artist based in Mangochi. He was born Richard Nawasha on 25 March, 1997 in Mangochi where he was partly raised in Zomba by his parents. Rico was inspired by his colleagues at Zomba Catholic Secondary school (Box2) were they always wanted him to perform on stage. His first stage performance was at Stalla Maris Secondary School were he was shocked with the love he was shown while performing, later on he decided to involve himself with music that will give people hope,Faith and encouragement(Positive Music). He started music as a rapper but now he is a Reggea Dancehall artist. Rico Tyrone likes listening to I Octane, Lawi and Lucky Dub
