Biography

Nehemiah Mazunda better known by his stage name Saxess is an upcoming Malawian Gospel musician and songwriter. Born and raised in the municipality of Zomba, Saxess started singing at the age of 6 in a family band. His stage name Saxess originates from the word SUCCESS because he believes in doing more than just enough, excelling. Down to earth, ambitious and visionary Malawian young man has always had love for music and discovering his talent and abilities, he aims at delivering the message through music with his melodious voice. Saxess’s first appearance in the music scene was with the group called New Generation Worshippers in 2011 with an album called “The Genesis” recorded and produced at ITUMA Records. Saxess’s first own album ‘INUYO YESU’ was released on 1st April, 2016 and it is enjoying maximum play on different radio stations. Saxess is in the music industry for his life time for it is the mission to spread the word of God and winning souls to God.
