Sleek Jonez is a music group based in the north. It's a group of three but was initially started by two best friends, Christopher Chiwambo (Gremmer) and Vitumbiko Tembo (E'lite) in 2011. It was only after a good two years when we had a new member on the team, Ntchindi Gondwe (Trizzy).
Our mission is to promote music, entertain and also educate. Through our music we preach not only the word of gospel but also the way of life. We've worked with Producers like Kenlo, where we made a song titled 'Take You There' which was a hit in Mzuzu at that time (2013), Cap10 Tha hitmaker, Tintizo, Élite, Morpheus among others. Our music is based on personal experiences but also creativity. We try our best to mix things up because we don't want our audience to get bored too soon when we are yet to grow. So far our audience has been of local premises but now we are trying to go country wide. Our music is of a concrete foundation and there is no doubt that the nation will love it.
The most recent songs that are trending on the streets are 'Hol up' by Sleek Jonez. This was strictly a turn up song that was produced by E'lite. This song is basically about us appreciating the female fans that are there for us. Appreciating all the women that are promoting our music too. 'Ndadutsa Muzokhoma' which was done with Wonderkid, a love song in which the lad explains the difficulties that he passed through during the days he was trying to convince a girl to be his lady until she fell in love with him. Then there is 'Wandikweza Njinga' which was just released about a week ago featuring Wonderkid, Trinta, Gremmer.
Sleek Jonez has worked with different artist over the years which are F-kiz, Wonderkid, Trinta, Mady P, Irom, Chal Chin, Dih Mantis and Big Ta. Currently we are working on producing DMI mix tape 'Age of Conflict' from which we are also to release a pre-cypher audio this week.
We are a team that believes in unity and team work and so we support each other in whatsoever we do. Unlike most Music groups that start and fall as they get close to rising, we manage to stay strong especially when temptations seem to shake us most. We are a Christian group and so we put God first. In all that we've managed to achieve we always remember to thank God.
