Tamanya-Waka

Biography

Tamanya-Waka is an international reggae artist from Malawi, based in Tunisia and Ivory Coast. She works with an Austrian Record Label Called "House Of Riddim" which also works with some of the top international Reggae Artists like Morgan Heritage, Anthony B, Fantan Mojah, Queen Ifrica, Lutan Faya, Romain Virgo. Tamanya-Waka has also been working with other International Record Labels including Penthouse Records, Notis Records (Jamaica), Bizzarri Records (Italy) just to mention a few, who have produced some of her songs. Tamanya-Waka has three albums to her name, two being in the native language of Chichewa and the other one in English. Tamanya-Waka recently represented Malawi at the 1st Africa Unite Reggae Sunsplash Festival in Cape Town South Africa, she also perfomed at The Lake of Stars festival 2016.
