Tykun

Biography

“Tykun” Mzuzu based Dancehall Artist was a fan of Bob Marley, Culture, Chaka Demus Pliers and Sizzla Kalonje. He used to listen a lot to Wayne Marshal, Demarco, Wayne Wonder and Bounty Killa but he had no intention of being an artist. In 2010 he did his first serious recording with King Sparrow and Twiggy (BFF) produced by Zephy Oldies song title "galaxy party". Twiggy inspired him a lot, he always made singing sound as if it is simple and encouraged him alot. Also worked with producers DJ Sley, P - Nice of Creative arts Studios, DJ Kenlo and more. He has worked with artist Vatykan from Blantyre on many tracks as they were in the same Dancehall group “Gold Tooth”. He has also worked with Critic, Jah Face (BFF), Dj Ken Lo, Young Dre, Blackafella and many more. He has done an EP called "Life of a General"
