Biography

Since childhood days Thom Luiza has always been a fan of music and there are several instances that showed music manifested in his life. Well, like some of the well-known artist you and I know, Thom Luiza also started doing music in Church choir and harnessed that energy way up to where he is now. Born in the family of 11 children Thomson Makawa could be seen among the rest of the siblings that he will one day grow into an artist. The desire in music grew much when he got exposed to Malawi Music Crosswords and this talented artist was only in standard 7 then. When he was at secondary level, in form 2 to be exact, Thom Luiza went to register now as a member of Malawi Music Crossroads. Although the artist stopped availing himself for Malawi Music Crossroads due to some reasons, its evident from his composition and the rhythm of his music that the artist benefitted a lot from the Malawi Music Crossroads. He released his first serious single in 2014 titled "Chizindikiro" which had a warm welcome among his fans. The song also proved that the artist is on the right track to make it in the music industry podium. Latter in 2016 he dropped another single "Sadamuziwe" and just like Chizindikiro, this song fueled his extent of recognition and got him a place in the music circles. Thom Luiza has come again with another banger by the title Joseph which refers to the biblical Joseph. Just like most of his songs Joseph brings in an insightful analysis on the story of Joseph and directly reflects to everyday situation. Joseph is the song you would probably love to listen to and the message is just too loud to ignore
