The Heart of worship (THOW) is a movement of young inspired Christians that focuses on awakening the hearts of people to worship and demonstrate the love of God. THOW is an inter-denominational musical grouping officially established on 6th May 2016. Currently located in area 25 in Lilongwe. Apart from singing, the group do some social responsibilities due to the understanding that a man is made up of spirit, soul and body.
THOW has ever worked on numerous corroborative projects in the past. For instance, embarked on a project called Ndife Amodzi that ran from 2016 to 2017. Ndife Amodzi (We are one) was a charitable project that was calling for all Malawians and everyone to stop the inhuman killings and abduction of people with albinism and love one another as instructed in the Bible. This was
The project attracted some interest from both local and international media houses for instance, the music video was included in a Spanish documentary beamed on National Television Espanola (TVE) on 21st November 2016.
In 2019, THOW participated in an initiative by YONECO, DCT & YAS with Art House & XTRA on Malawi Youth for elections. Then was aimed at providing nonpartisan information on 2019 elections and encouraging youth participation. The initiative is supported by National Democratic Institute (NDI)
Apart from that in 2019 THOW performed at Ufulu musical Festival held at Civic Stadium.
Penultimately, THOW participated in another project called Kuwala creative. This was part of the regional initiative called Resource of Open Minds currently being implemented in three southern African countries of Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.
THOW ministers at different churches and forums upon an invitation. The group is so passionate to see churches, campuses, cities and even nations being transformed through worship and raising and equipping those coming to fulfill the call of God on their lives.
In 2020 THOW is planning to drop their first ever album called THOW 2020- HAVE YOUR WAY. The album is lively recorded by Gresham Mokwena.
