Wisdom Chitedze - Remembering Wisdom

The music industry has been dwelt a big blow as it has lost renowned Lilongwe based artist Wisdom Chitedze who died in the early hours on 27 Nov 2011 in South Africa. The musician and poet who is among early artists to have had their music featured on TVM and is known for hits like 'Tipewe,' and 'Misonzi.' Despite not being that active in live performances, Chitedze who according to Mazunda produced four albums among them Tipewe and Misonzi drew people close to him because of his heart touching songs. Mazunda said Chitedze was born on March 29, 1979 and hailed from Mchinji district. He is survived by a wife Elsie and two children Keitaro and Keevan.
