YJB Mkango is a Malawian hip-hop artist born on June 30th, 1990 in Blantyre, and hails from Nkhatabay. He began his music career at the age of 18 in 2008. YJB draws inspiration from renowned Malawian musicians such as Evison Matafale and Gift Fumulani, as well as international artists like 50 Cent and T.I. His music is characterized by hip-hop beats, and he delivers messages that aim to educate, inspire, and entertain his audience. Besides his music career, YJB is also a businessman based in Blantyre.
