Yuzi

Biography

Yuzi is not a new name on the Malawian Music Industry, though with a different face. He has been promoting a number of artists under the label BIMA MUSIQ. One of such artists is AKAFISH MILINGO of the "Amatiska" fame. Bima Musiq also specialises in events management, particularly music shows.Through the shows, Yuzi has hosted a great number of artists including the Organised Family, Patience Namadingo, Grace Chinga, Lusubiro Band, Lawi, Kelvin Shema Ennoh, Piksy, Maskal, just to mention a few Born Hughes Chinkhuntha, Yuzi had his first recording in 2005 where he worked with Kumbu Kachimanga and Snowden Smokey Kachimanga all of Mwai K studios in Lilongwe. After that he had put his music career on hold and went to Chancellor College to pursue his studies. After completing his studies, he concetrated much on other errands while practicing his music behind the stage. Now he has come out of his cacoon and has teamed up with one of the greatest producers, Zepphy Oldies and is working on his project which will be out soon. Currently based in Mzuzu, in the track Y.E.S.U. Yuzi has teamed up with a seasoned gospel singer Peter Sambo and together they are taking the Malawian gospel Scene to another level.
