Biography

Zion Music is a collection of Gospel reggae-dancehall artists from various districts of Malawi. Its mission is to inspire, equip and nurture a generation of creative reggae-dancehall artists. Zion Music has two singles, namely Zion Cypher, which was released in 2018, and a 2020 single titled Jah DNA. These two singles mark Zion Music as a rising professional reggae-dancehall artiste in Malawi. Currently, Zion Music members include Cadmateyo, Chrispine, Crucked Colour, Vedinga, Gogo Keffa, Holystone, Jalleck, Jalliez, Jintoman, Ps. Samagara, Rev. Madovat, Bright Skuva, Sir Creedy, and We-Mu. Some of these artists are also into graphic designing, artist mentoring, small business, computer engineering and academic professions. Thus, for the Zion Music Movement, reggae is just a genre for preaching the Gospel of Christ, and making Him known to the world.
